13cabs - Ride with no surge

★★★★★ Tried the first time, everything so far is fine. Booked (fixed fare)the night before, wondering if a taxi would arrive in the very early morning. Signed in with tracking but seemed nothing happening, then 8 minutes before booking time, received a text (with driver's name and car plate number)saying it would arrive, then arrived in about 90 seconds. Very impressive (car type matched, driver friendly and car is clean. Fare debited after journey completed. Hope 13cab can keep this standard.

★★☆☆☆ Absolutely terrible. I tried to schedule a taxi fifteen hours in advance which remained pending for fourteen and a half hours at which point I called 13CABS and the lady booked the cab immediately (credit to her). Sadly the taxi never arrived. While waiting, I managed to update the Uber app, update my payment information and book an Uber 6 minutes away. I was late back to work, and I've given more money to Uber which I don't like. Fix your business model, this is why taxis are no longer the go to

★★☆☆☆ Great app, but you will be charged before the trip and then the driver will cancel the trip and make you pay again at the end. So then you have 2 charges on your card.

★★☆☆☆ Charged twice and 13 cabs refuse to investigate! ---- DO NOT USE! Booked with the app but used a cab charge voucher to pay, plus cash and tip, even put it in the comments of the booking, but my credit card was also charged more than the driver charged me (Inc tip!) Requested a refund, but they refused unless I produce the cab charge receipt, even though payment with a voucher must be logged using a unique code and the driver will remember as we talked the whole way for over an hour. Criminal!
