Functionality seems to have improved, but still two problems: 1) it's not obvious how to connect water heater (hint: go to schedules first), and 2) the app has no notification function, which is a big omission since it means water leak alerts won't appear on your phone unless you open the app first. Edit: you can, however, set up text or email alerts.

The app has lost my water heater three times. Each time it looses its registration and has to be re registered. Will not recommend AO Smith hybrid water heater.

Logs out constantly, can't use the app for more than a minute. Shows blue bars for hot water and red bars for cold water. Makes no sense!

I think the app is showing the water temp backwards. Mine has been on 10% hot water the past several hours with 90% cold. It more seems that it is 90% hot. NOW, If the app isn't going to work right then why did I pay extra for this feature. The old app never seemed to say it wasn't full hot after 5 people took showers. So at least they are staying with the tend of not have apps that actually work. For the cost this feature adds it should be working 100% of the time.
