App is good as far as it goes, but a lot more information would be nice. One time when deleting old schedules it got lost and the thermostat had to be reinitiated. Also, I had to use an external temp sensor as the thermostat releases heat that interferes with the internal temp sensor. Otherwise, I like it

Connectivity and stability are great, and thermostat programming is pretty straightforward. I prefer using the app for temperature control because it's more responsive than the thermostat touch screen

My American Standard 20 seer Heat Pump, that is less than two years old, has been down for weeks. Every time the unit errors the thermostat shows the error but the app neither shows the error nor alerts that the equipment has failed. Thus, the app is unreliable for something as critical as knowing the unit is working. I should have never accepted a unit dependant upon this app but stuck with one that could work with the reliable Nest thermostat and apps I used to use.

As reported in an earlier review, app apparently stopped working after latest update (12/24). Can connect to thermostat but can't apply changes - just "spins" until hard closing app. Same result with 3 different Phones. It's therefore useless until this is fixed. Good app until this happened. Wish I could give a better review.

Thermostat randomly disconnects and is no longer synced with the app. When this happens it turns off HVAC. Super frustrating. American Standard support just has you set up the app again. So awful.
