All the described and pictured functionality would be really good, but the app is not mature and well tested on Android platforms. Even with background location enabled in Android the app has errors reported in the log because it goes for more than 60s without receiving an updated location. The developer needs to understand the Android location API. It also raises alarms when not expected, and the status bar doesn't show the reason for the alert. This is on a Pixel 7A device.
