If you're having problems connecting to your Fire TV, make sure you're connected to the same Wi-Fi frequency. Even under the same SSID, devices may be connected to different 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequencies which can cause connection problems. My favored way to sideload apps to my Fire TV devices. Much easier to search, download and manage apks on my phone than downloading on the Fire TV.

Used to work doesn't anymore now it just says it doesn't have permissions to access /sdcard/download but instead used wear installer (works by sending app over adb as well just meant for ur watch not TV) and it worked through that IDK what's going on could be I just upgraded to Android 14 public instead of beta (using pixel 8) but used to work well needs an update of something now
