★★★★★ Going to compare to Over drop). Appy is generally a useful app with great UI and design, but that's it. Anything else such as features like widgets, alerts, radar, etc. are only to be accessed when you buy premium. (3 types or plans for premium, what I mentioned is from the first or cheapest plan) This is where Over drop is better. Over drop wins in features but Appy goes for privacy and SLIGHTLY better in accuracy. Interface: Over drop, Design: Both, Accuracy: Appy, Features: Over drop. Drop wins

★★★★★ App widget does not update. No restrictions on app at all. Should be a time you could select for updates 30 min, 1 hour, etc. Edit. I have checked everything. This app has been given all access and is not restricted at all. It has the highest update frequency there is. It has been excluded from every monitoring service. Edit. There has to be a solution other than constant notification. I don't have this issue with most other weather apps. Edit. Letting sub run out. I give up.

★★☆☆☆ Widgets need a lot of work, they look messy and don't follow system theme; system changes to white the widgets stay black and so on, would be nice to follow Material You color scheme like some other apps. Notifications not as accurate as other weather apps for upcoming rain (even when adjusted for lower probability). The app itself is nicely laid out, but as mentioned above that makes is a no-go for me.

★★☆☆☆ I'm changing my review of Appy Weather. You can see my original glowing 5 stars in the edit history. But now? I don't know what's happened but not only is the accuracy miles off, the descriptions are ridiculously out of whack with conditions. Drizzle when it's full heavy rain, Drizzle as a summary for the day when there's an hour's worth at 6am, Breezy when it's 35mph winds. Something isn't right anymore, and it's a shame. It was good while it lasted. Just resubscribed too.

★★☆☆☆ Used to work well, but now it never updates, and my widget is constantly a blank, white space. I've been paying for the app for over 2 years, but I am totally frustrated that it never loads anymore. Even when I open the app to see the weather, the whole app is a blank, white screen. It's part of my morning routine function because I've relied on it for so long, but now it looks like I'll have to uninstall it.
