Works perfectly, but nearly impossible to figure out how and nothing is explained to you in the app or even in the app description. First you need to make sure both Bluetooth and location services are switched on on your phone, then turn the train on. Then open Bluetooth settings on your phone and tap the trains Bluetooth to pair. Finally open the app and the connection icon should turn green. Make sure to switch the train on BEFORE opening the app.

CHECK/CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES BEFORE ASSUMING THE APP DOESN'T WORK. Just saying... We also thought the app didnt work and finally put in brand new batteries (mind you the ones we had in were new the night before so they obviously need to be new). Main reason Im giving it 4 stars...

Total rubbish. What for does the app need my location? Even when enabled, the phone (Android 10) recognizes the machine, but does not connect. No instructions in the package whatsoever. Really a bitter disappointment from Brio.

Doesn't work. I've connected my phone to the train, but the app doesn't register the connection. For a £40 RRP train you'd have thought they'd spend more effort on testing the app.
