CalendarSync - CalDAV and more

★★★★★ Works great with iCloud after a couple tweaks I wanted to be able to sync my Android calendar with my friend's public iCloud calendar, but it's impossible to import a public iCloud calendar into Google Calendars because basically Apple won't play nice with Google. Calendar Sync to the rescue! It works great, but there are a couple of gotchas to fix in order to get it working. Here's how: You should have received an automated email from Apple when the user shared his public iCloud calendar with you. Copy the webcam URL under "Having problems? Manually subscribe to this calendar at:" in that email. Next open Calendar Sync and when you create a new WebICal paste the URL into the appropriate blank. Change "webcam://" to "https://" in the URL. Also, check if the copy/paste added any spaces into the URL. (That's what happened to me, and it caused sync to fail.) Leave the source type as "HTTP/HTTPS." I also created a calendar and selected it as default for import, but I'm not sure if that is required. The developer gives great support, but maybe this saves time for all concerned.

★★☆☆☆ Edit: it only worked a few hours 2 months ago. I think Annemarie gave up. The email support from Annemarie is great. So, yes, it's a lot to take in when you first install the app, and it can be intimidating. It's easier than it appears. Scroll down to Manual & Tips to start to get the step by step. I wanted my iCal to show up on my android. In options, I used CalDav not cloud. That temp apple password goes in step 8. Sync now manually in your new ca lend after each change and it's instant.

★★☆☆☆ Really difficult Does not work. Not keeping its promise. Really bad when it does not sync all the events. My cal has more than 100 events, and it syncs only few of those around 15/20. what's wrong with it. :(It's really not friendly to tell you what's wrong. It was a real bad choice, I have to check for other options.
