Good job to the researchers behind and great app for people with pollen allergy

My day starts with looking at the Canberra Pollen Count app, Even though I live just outside the ACT (as the crow flies) the app helps me plan my day. I suffer badly with hay fever and if the count is above Low, I need to avoid outside and dry my clothes in the dryer. Extreme readings are a big worry (but my symptoms tend to confirm, rather than be warned by the app). I thank the people who do so much work to bring the app to us.

Great app Shows pollen counts and allows me to say how the day made me feel hayfever-wise. It would be good if you could do the survey for yesterday instead of just today. I check this when I wake in the morning, but that's too early for me to know how the day will be. Also, I keep hitting the wrong button when asked if I've taken medication, the ability to edit that would be good.

This app is phenomenal. I have asthma and severe hey-fever. This app helps me plan my day with what medication to take, what kind of mask to wear, and whether to even go out at all. Great service.
★★☆☆☆
Canberra's spring pollens begin late August early September. Need info earlier than October. Wattles and fruit blossoms are in full bloom by early September. All allergy sufferers are well and truly sick by October rendering this app useless to us. The idea is good though. Bring the season forward and I'll reinstall. Cheers.
★★☆☆☆
Don't use this app, there are better alternatives. The Air Rater app by the University of Tasmania is far better than Canberra Pollen because it contains more pollen types including Betula, Plant ago, Alternaria, etc. Air Rater also allows you to track symptoms that will show you whether they align with certain pollens. Canberra Pollen's pollen count starts later, have a lower threshold score and frequently for the last several years rates pollen counts as 'Low' for the majority of the season.
★★☆☆☆
Counting is meant to begin 1st Oct and end in December. It's 20th Oct now and the app says pollen season is over. Not very useful!
★★☆☆☆
Reported low count and predictions for whole period, in contrast to BOM and AccuWeather reporting high today and high - very high all week!
