This app isn't perfect, but I have to give it 5 stars for being the only app to properly filter blue light without an overlay on OLED screens. Unfortunately it only works for rooted devices, but fortunately for me this is one of the reasons I have a rooted device. I absolutely categorically refuse to buy a device that can't be rooted. At least $5,000 I have NOT spent over the last 15 years because I REFUSED to ever buy a US phone with a locked bootloader, so I buy foreign phones and don't upgrade.

NEED HELP The latest version of CF.LUMEN won't work for me since my phone is not rooted. So, I downloaded a previous version — V3.66 — which worked. After using the app, I found it to be the best blue light filter ever for android. It's perfect. I really want to use this app, but I'm facing an issue. ISSUE : Whenever I enable CF.LUMEN, I'm unable to scroll through the screen or press anything on the screen.

The app was working just fine with no root before the update. It would display a warning but it worked anyway. Now after the update it just tells me it won't work rootless even though it was working just fine

Was truly great, new version breaks on android 10 (Mate 10, can't be rooted), doesn't darken screen in sleep mode despite redoing all settings, have to revert to previous version from backup. Should have released a different version or a beta as now I'm continually nagged by the play store to update, bloody annoying. Please reinstate code for older phones or provide a side load version which isn't linked to Play Store, so it doesn't want to update.

Doesn't work at all. It says it needs permission to draw over other apps, and it's allowed, but it keeps asking for that permission over and over again. I'm on Android 9
