Droid Fish is the strongest engine because it is based on stock fish. But chess genius is the best for human against engine. The reason is it plays almost instantly very strong moves without making you bored waiting for the engine to play. Unless you are a super GM, I would recommend this app for everyone. My only wish for this app is more choices for the chessboard colors. It already has 6 to 8 color choices, but none of them is what I am looking for.

Loved Chess genius on Symbian as a kid. Back then I had no way to buy it. Finally, I can have it on Android. The easy modes are great for learners. Plus it has a casual mode. You can lock the engine to only 1 second per move, and it still plays at 2200+ ELO. That way you don't have to wait for it to make its move. But when it is your turn, you can take all the time you need. It has one fault: you can not open chess puzzles with it because it always immediately shows the solution.

Deceptive difficulty levels and poor hints. POOR HINTS, TUTOR & SAVE/LOAD SOLUTION. This app has many good features, as told us by the developer. But there are far better apps, like Shredder and others. This app gives you poor hints and gives false tutor -blunder warning for "genius" moves. You will lose against the engine's Easy levels if you follow the hints. Easy levels are not good for training beginners when using hints, as they are far above 12-1600 elo. Clipboard saving works well, but not the database meny. There are no resign/draw option.
