CityWeather – DMI & YR

★★★★★ Great that this app sticks to the old design. After DMI changed their layout, this one is even more valuable. Uses still the old, for me easier to read symbols and colors, with compared to DMI added features, such as sun up-down times for city, the link to yr. It uses the new rain radar map which is OK and probably the only one available. In contrast to DMI's solution zoomed on total extend (and not city) and precipitation as default content which is also precisely what I need. It starts with the chosen city, I did not use my location and from the earlier reviews it could be a good choice for the speed at start up.

★★★★★ Well-designed weather app which I use daily. Brings local weather data from DMI and hence is quite precise and detailed. GPS is indeed slow but if you stay in the same region, it works as a treat.

★★☆☆☆ Keeps popping up asking about Google apps every time it opens, apparently this app suffers from short term memory loss. Design/layout is not that nice.

★★☆☆☆ Lots of bells and whistles. Certainly something that could impress the upper echelons of the company. However, when it comes to the actual usage it suffers. It is not possible to see what is observation and what is simulation. The radar pictures does not load. The language is a mixture of Danish, English and French.
