Cogeco App could be a lot better but other than that, all good here

For the times I use it, the app usually works fine. If there is an issue I just close and restart and that will always remedy the situation. I do occasionally see audio sync issues, including with DVR content, but I'd agree, they are latency based. I would like to see a picture in picture feature, so I can multitask while on my phone watching, I'm unaware if tablets have this currently. The casting feature works well, and I like being able to use my phone to find shows, then casting to the boxes.

Basic app compared to Bell Fibe app. Once Bell finishes laying out their Fiber to the home I will be going back. Requires frequent restarts and is laggy. When people ask can I cast to "a Tv" I am sure they are thinking of casting epico app to any tv with Chromecast or other comparable box like Fire stick and others. We don't cast to a tv we cast to a device or built-in app on TV. Inability to install on fire stick and other boxes is a dealbreaker. Bell Fibe app requires no branded boxes.

App needs to be able to be installd on more devices, with bell fibe I could watch blue jays games outside on my Samsung Galaxy. Not available for this device

Can't install this app through play store on my Sony Bra via 4k Android TV. Epico TV boxes are basically skinned Android TV boxes, so this restriction makes no sense (literally forcing me to connect an android tv box to my android tv... Come on Cogeco, even savvy's solution got this right!). I've been with Cogeco for 10+ years, but we won't make another if this doesn't get sorted out.
