★★★★★ Best bird guide, same as the paper format. Additionally, the app includes audios for songs and calls for all the species, quite handy to check in the field

★★★★★ Very good app, it is harder to compare species than in the book but practical to have as you always have it with you, and it has sounds the book doesn't have.

★★★★★ I love this app. It's very easy to use and has saved me from lugging a paper edition around for years. The calls and songs are invaluable. Suggestions: 1. Remove unnecessary words in common names such as "European" Robin as they're superfluous in a European bird app. 2. Include a beginner mode switch in settings. New birders shouldn't be trawling through Thrush Nightingales and Scrub Robins to find a common bird.

★★☆☆☆ The app is good and functional, but it is NOT updated, despite the fact that is NOT a free app. Many calls and sounds are missing (e.g. Nubian Night jar) for the species which can not really be seen without playback.

★★☆☆☆ In-app purchases don't seem to work well, and not at all if you are a family member.

★★☆☆☆ Purchased to identify birds while out with the kids. Other than that I have no interest in birds. Immediately met with a banner to upgrade the app for the same purchase price again to get access to all the birds. Yeah I think no. Luckily I can still refund it so big disappointment from me on this one. Nowhere on the sales page it said this did not include all the birds.

★★☆☆☆ It was much better, but suddenly my lists are just that, lists with no sorting, no grouping, loads of duplication and effectively useless. No search functionality in my lists. My love for this app is now antipathy at best

★★☆☆☆ I was expecting this to be the latest edition. Once purchased, you are told you need to pay another £7.99 to upgrade it to the latest version.
