Convenience for passing through Immigration

It's simple to scan the app to pass the immigration control. I will be standing on a fixed box and wait a few minutes. It's so advancer than using old passport manually. Only issue is you can pass it if you stand outside the box

An app that requires the installation of another app before it works, seriously ? This app is supposed to be used for contactless e-Channel gates at HK boarders, avoiding the need of fingerprint scanning, sounded great. But it requires the installation of another app called iAM Smart (what a stupid name), which is about HK taxation and HK health, etc. Just can't see why these are related ? At normal e-Channel gates, all it is required is the HKIC.

Rubbish! Forced to apply for i-smart in the end, ain't going to fool for this one. Just want all of us to pay our taxes, that's it. Uninstalled immediately 👎🏻👎🏻

QR code not working for 3 times this week, 2 times returning and 1 time departing HKG. Even after reinstall app QR code remains invalid. Wasted time stuck in immigration e channel retrying and blocking other people in queue creating inconvenience to others. Used conventional way eventually. App uninstalled.
