I find this the most useful cookbook app I have. Easy to add recipes from most sites and not too difficult to cut-and-paste from others. UPDATE 21/02/15 I still use this app almost daily and appreciate it always. Thanks for making my cooking and meal planning so much simpler.

I would no longer recommend this app. When I bought this app years ago with its pre update interface, it was fantastic. I bought the ad free version. Luckily I backed that version up. I Hate the pesent interface and manual input of your own recipes is now a laborious and frustrating exercise, they still haven't sorted out the poor execution when clipping from bbcgoodfood (the ingredients list needs a lot of editing every time) they also seem to be trying to force you into a subscription service!

JUST AWFUL. Change destroyed KEY, "MUST HAVE" functions. **ONLINE (CookbookPro) NOW Cookmate site, FIRST. --> Hours trying to locate my 268 recipes. NOWHERE! App said I had ZERO RECIPES, for 2 DAYS! Finally, modicum success by changing my password, YET NO LONGER CATEGORIZES RECIPES! Only lists recipes Alphabetically! **SECOND --> While DESKTOP offshoot DOES list Categories, ABSOLUTELY NO PICS DISPLAYED. GONE! NOW, MUST FIND & IMPORT ALL 286+ IMAGES! Kept ALL my precious recipes in this app. BAD!

The developer hasn't paid attention to the important details. I can't tell it how many servings I want to plan. I can't see the meal plan when it asks me what date do at it to, so have no idea what days still need meals. I have to click on every calendar day before I can set what I've got planned, if anything. It's just not a friendly design. I can't figure out how these apps get so many stars.
