★★★★★ Best tracking app for anyone taking meds on a flexible schedule or as needed, along with regularly timed doses. It allows you to schedule meds in relation to the previous dose, like pain meds you might take every 4–6 hrs... So if you take a dose early or late, your next dose will be 4–6 hrs after, rather than just a set time for each dose and no flexibility. Backup capability works well to transfer everything over to a new phone quickly and easily.

★★★★★ I have used dose cast for the last 5 years. I've even recommended it to others. It helps to remind me to take my medication and the app is easy to use.

★★☆☆☆ I've used this app for several years. Since the latest update 2 days ago, the app keeps closing on me and doesn't give reminders. Please fix your 'fix'. This is usually a great app, but I'm not getting reminder notifications lately. I only get reminders when I open the app to check it, then I'll get all the reminders for the previous day. This seems to have started after the most recent update. Happy to give more stars if this new bug gets fixed.

★★☆☆☆ UPDATE 5.6.24 I have played with all the settings and I cannot get the notifications to turn on. I'm on 2 meds, a painkiller every 4 hours and an antibiotic every 6 hours, and I really need to take both on time and not mix up frequency. I really wish this worked with alarms. 2018 comment: No notifications - I like that I can track multiple meds short term, but this would be much more useful if the notifications worked. I have to set a separate alarm which seems unnecessary.
