Great service and worthy of your support. Most purchases are DRM free, so you can listen in, for example, Smart Audiobook Player (IMHO, the best audiobook reading experience). Or you can stream from their app - which you'll have to do if there's DRM (which they'll clearly warn you about). No Audible Originals, and they don't have the depth of Audible, but excellent. And someone has to chip away at that monopoly by offering something extra, which they do. They also offer a credits' subscription.

Downpour's App is a complete fecal show, at least on One UI 6. Crashes out every other chapter in spite of the latest fix allegedly addressing it. Oh and spare your sanity by not using this app with a car's Bluetooth. After turning off the radio, Downpour will crash and /forget where it was in the audiobook/. Bit lost at how an audio file player in 2024 can fail this hard. My advice? Buy the books from Downpour, download the e-book audio file, and listen to it with some other audio player.
