Handy for storing all you tickets. Couple of shortfalls I've noticed. When you add an event but don't buy tickets it does not allow you to get directions to the event. Second when you purchase a ticket you can open this on the phone to show the QR code needed for entry. However, when you enter a venue and loose Internet connection the app warns you of this obscuring the ticket and the QR code. In closing the warning it also closes the ticket so not very helpful for getting into an event.

I hope they improve the app for 2024. Pressing links on Fringe web page automatically opens app (if you have installed) but that results in a degraded experience as the app is missing some of the web page features. Aside from that it generally worked well during my days at Fringe 2023.

Oh dear. Doesn't work. My booked shows not in planner. Dates tab is empty for all shows. Can't book tickets cos it asks me to "Select your performance" while not offering any. Complete fail. What a shame. Edit: 13th Aug update fixed the issues. The app was great for storing potential shows, booking, holding tickets etc. Positioning "Directions to next" between upcoming shows is confusing, as it implies it'll provide directions between those two shows, rather than whatever actually IS next.

Handles poor connectivity terribly. Developers you need to cache more offline data to make this app usable in a city that has its cellular network overloaded. Cache the venues and venue locations. Google Maps have had offline map caching for years, so Google Maps works great, the fringe app just loses the plot and can't even tell me the address of a venue. I can't even get to my planner without being assaulted by the offline screen telling me I'm offline to get to the planner.

Slow and buggy. Takes forever to load and has led to me double booking shows as I've not been able to view things I've booked already. Often doesn't populate dates and times for artists, so I've been unable to book tickets at all. This is losing artists sales. Hangs at the booking process all the time. Also doesn't show the history of the shows you have seen, despite having an option to display this it says that there is 'nothing here' despite booking dozens of shows over the last few weeks.

Constant 'you are offline!' errors when switching apps which also has a tendency to wipe your basket when that happens. If those were the last few tickets, you may then miss out like I did. Frequently says shows are available when they are not. Terrible search options for searching for anything other than genre, like ticket availability. One of the worst possible ways you could try to discover shows as well. Doesn't really do anything well other than let you purchase tickets
