Enhanced SMS & Caller ID+

★★★★★ I have used this app for many years. It briefly stopped working. Recently the developer resumed support, and I am thrilled to have it back.

★★★★★ I have been using it for 6+years. I tried many other similar apps, and it is the best. I am using S5 and Note 8 with Voyager Legend 5200 and Moto Hint, the Caller ID, SMS, WhatsApp and WeChat announce well in English and Chinese as well.

★★☆☆☆ Needs option to mute with push of button. Can't always shakes while phone is in pocket but can press button. * for some reason there is about a 1-min delay. All delays are set at 0 * now for some reason this no longer works. * looks like "quiet time" stops it completely. It works the first day I install it then never again. After quiet time starts it never works again until I reinstall it.

★★☆☆☆ I'm really sorry to have to write this because I really liked this app on my previous phone, even though there were some glitches here and there. In my Sony Xperia X Compact with Android 7.1.1, it can't do the work. I thought maybe it was Google Assistant that was causing the problem, because Assistant actually does all the work of texting. But another reader here said he had problems with it on Nougat and Oreo, so maybe it's a conflict with Android. Whatever the case, when my car stereo says a call is coming in, which is what it also calls text messages, there is nothing. No voice prompts, no nothing. This is the case with both the beta version and with the public version that I went back to. (And yes, I have checked the box about improving Bluetooth performance in cars.)
