I love this app. The process of registering was so easy. Everything is straight forward super easy to use no brainers. I was quickly to accept specific jobs of my choosing and get paid. I highly reccomend others to sign up. It is of your choosing whether to be a customer to have things fixed/repairs around your home, or you become the person to take on tasks and get paid for.

Great experience with my first task. App is easy to use for booking the task, being able to chat with the contractor was great. My only complaint is about the review / feedback tool. The text window doesn't work well with the phones keyboard, as the keyboard is over the text field. If this is eventually fixed, this'll become a 5 start first experience.

As a contractor, I can say that there isn't proper vetting. All they do is confirm that you are who you say you are as a person. They do not check liability issuance coverage, WCB validity, GST registration is optional, and there is no criminal record check. They are allowing "contractors" who are "DIY-ers" or trades doing this as a side gig into people's home without any coverage that protects the home owner and worker, giving false pretense that you have a professional working in your home.

Hey Brain has a terrible payment system that benefits the contractor and not the client. The contractor and I aggreeded to 6.5 hrs AT THE END OF THE JOB and I was charged 8 hrs. HOW DOES HEY BRYAN NOT HAVE PAYMENT VERIFICATION WHERE THE CLIENT AND CONTRACTOR BOTH SIGN OFF BEFORE A PAYMENT IS PROCESSED?

I would never use a service that takes payment in advance or you cannot book the task.
