This app uploads the files to convert them. Not cool. There are many ways to implant the feature into the app's local code and use local CPU power. The ability to convert files is only dependent on having a way to parse and transform the contents of the file in question. This is trivial to handle for nearly all common file types. Offloading conversions this way has no merit; there are many FOSS libraries that handle conversions of wildly varying file types, even extremely obscure ones.

I am not verifying my credit card info, so I can convert a PDF to a JPEG. Get out of here with that. Uninstalled immediately. Hey guys - just convert the freaking file. You will never have a profitable business with this approach.
