Excellent! I took a risk and paid for the pro upgrade. At last, I have a notation software that works well on my Samsung S7+ tablet. I can create scores there and send musical files by Gmail to finish off on my PC. Nice!

After some problems with other music notation apps I decided to actually fork in the cash to try Forte. I was initially turned off by its price and visual appearance, but it was only $15 AUD and the appearance is actually very streamlined, intuitive and comprehensive. Saving files in a different directory is a little troublesome but sending to Google Drive is a good workaround.

I would get the pro version, but the library is too basic. There is no search function and I can't create set lists. This makes it unsuitable for gigs for me, I can't waste time on stage scrolling through a library of 100+songs. Could you add these functions please? I would absolutely buy the pro version if it had this as it has everything else I need; transposition, viewing individual instrument parts.

Has worked well but since most recent update I have not been able to open the Dropbox files. After logging in the app goes to 'forte notation' after having briefly tried 'Dropbox'. I have confirmed that my login details are correct. I can still login from the Dropbox website. Geoff 19 Feb 2020. The latest update has made it work again - excellent, however there is now a new problem! It doesn't go immediately to the folder with the music. The user has to go down the tree to the folder. Not ideal.

I could not find a way to open the editor without pay. This is why I promptly uninstalled this !!!!

I tried opening the app, it tells me to subscribe to premium. After agreeing to subscribe to newsletter, it took me back to the app start page. In a word, it's not opening. I'm uninstalling till you guys fix the problem

Chords symbols not imported in XML Useless for me. It doesn't import chord symbols and other symbols such as rhythm notation symbols "/" slash bars.

I'm trying to find a score editor to compose on the go and export scores. The features are locked, so I can't even create a test score. I managed to import a midi file of a composition for cello; the cello sounds absolutely awful. I'm willing to pay for an app, but I want to try it out first to see if it suits my needs (like exporting properly to music XML); it's impossible to try out this app.
