GAME CHANGER! As someone living in Sweden without a Banked, there are so many things you can't do. I was so excited when I discovered this! There were problems registering because my ID type was rather unique. I emailed back and forth with customer service a while until the CIO called me directly, and we figured it out together.

Delivered what it promised. You definitely want to get FrejaEID+ (note the "plus"). This requires a physical meeting with your ID. Fortunately, there are many places in Sweden where that can be done. The whole process took less than 6 hours, including time to do other errands.

Freda eID should be accepted everywhere a national ID is. The Covid certificate was a nice touch. I hope that in the future we have a digital driving license like Norway and more integration, so we can use Freda I'd everywhere bank ID is accepted.

As a foreign citizen you can only register with your coordination no even if you have a personnummer. Don't understand why. Tried to register for ID+ with my coordination no, the app tells me my identity level is too low, have to verify it at the tax agency. Happened to be at skatteverket that very day; the guy responsible for Freda smiles at me with a "2.3 stars in the play store" face and tells me that Freda just doesn't work right. Not to mention the rampant transphobia of the Swedish system.

The NFC scanning of the passport document does not work. My device's NFC and my password chip is ok because it works properly in other apps

Does not work with Android 12 beta 4. The app does not start. Only about a month until Android 12 is released so should be fixed.
