★★☆☆☆ I don't like it. In addition to other frustrations, the app drains my phone battery very quickly. Normally a charge will last me for 2 to 3 days before having to recharge. With the FVB Mobile Banking app, I have to charge the battery every day, sometimes the charge doesn't last a full day. If I talk or text on my phone at all, it requires a recharge every 16 to 18 hours. No app should use up resources that fast. I don't know what a banking app is doing that requires so much energy. Either it's pinging the bank with my location and other information every few minutes, or it is being compromised from outside. Power consumption aside, online banking from a mobile phone is one of the least secure ways of conducting such sensitive business. To think that ANY app on a wireless mobile device is secure is just plain naive. My bank assures me that it is as secure as doing online banking from my wired desktop computer (if I was on wi-fi, I simply would not do online banking at all!); but that simply is not true. Most people seem to have forgotten the warnings that were given by various authorities when mobile phones became popular: They are NOT secure!
