Black Cabs have been reliable and punctual. Every single one has been on time with polite drivers. Their fares can go up and down depending on the time of day, morning or night.

I haven't used Gett in years, nos I remember why. First driver asked me to cancel the ride because the eta was longer than he liked. Second driver called to verify my location but then immediately drove the opposite way, when I called him he said I wasn't where I said despite no taxis coming anywhere near me. My location was clear on the map. Both drivers had near 5-star ratings. No, thanks.

The taxi driver I took through them was a cheat. Didn't use meter, lie and didn't give proper receipt. They didn't offer any help into the matter. Won't use them again.

The app won't send me a verification code to set up an account. When I ask it to resend a code after not receiving one the app gives me a message that I've made too many attempts and to try again in 30 minutes despite this being my first attempt to have the code resent. Overall not a good first impression and it makes the app seems very unreliable.

I had a ride last evening from Ben Guion to the Renaissance. The driver was sooo nice. His credit card device wasn’t working. He tried many times. Finally, I paid him in cash. Well, I guess his device eventually worked because I got an email receipt charging me for the ride. So that means I paid him twice. I don’t want a refund because he was sooooo nice. And I don’t think he intended to bill me twice. I just wanted to let you know.
