Currently, (2021-07-15) there are severe flooding in the country with drinking water warnings. Both categories exist in Covalent. Yet, the app says "Currently no alerts". So the app is not doing the *one* job it's supposed to do.

The app is hanging frequently when registering, as well as when using it after registration, so one has to restart the app every time.

Emergency notifications don't work. 2 days after the recent flood, I opened the app to see why there was no warning. It was only then that the flood warning sounded. Apparently the app doesn't work in the background as it should. (My smartphone configuration is correct, background activity works for other apps. GPS info in the app is correct.)

High battery drain. Not sure if this app works, as I didn't get any alerts yet (which is good). But this app drains battery quite a lot. It always tops my battery usage list. Guess it updates position too often?
