Lots of free chargers and lots of space

As usual, Grid serve works fine. However, for some reason, both machines would only charge at 28 KW. I do not think this was an issue with my vehicle (MG 5 SR) because it usually can charge on a warm day, like today at up to 76KWh, from 30% to 80%

App needs the charger number which is displayed top right in tiny letters, not obvious. Charging works well. The lounge is comfortable but has fearsomely noisy air conditioning. I sat in the car most of the time.

Grid serve are the charge companies that let us down 80% of the time we try not to even go there now. Maidstone service station 2 units M6 toll road service station 2 units M65 Darwen service station 1 unit ALL have a large shortfall of chargers

The chargers all promote using the app to start a charge to get a 20% discount on charging. Unsurprisingly the app will start a remote charge and then the charger stops it straight away. Undoubtedly I expect I will have numerous pre authorizations on my card and will be reporting Grid Serve to my card company for fraudulent transactions. I will also be raising a complaint with the ASA to have the advert removed, as the app doesn't work. Managed to charge using contactless payment instead

Public charging in the UK is really poor. Insufficient in number, lacking capacity and poorly maintained. 350kW chargers delivering 50kW to a car that can pull 150kW is unacceptable.
