A brilliant library, but a slightly basic app. The library of anime Hi Dive has is something special, not quite as mainstream as Crunchyroll, but so many of their series are great emotive pieces. The also have a reasonable amount of ecchi, though for my taste they push that a bit too much. As for the app itself. It runs fine, but it doesn't have some basic features such as: an ability to like/dislike or star-rate videos, add comments to videos or a "play next" option when the credits roll.

It's pretty good for the fact it has allowed me to access Anime that wasn't available for me to watch on other platforms like Crunchyroll. It certainly needs improvement, but I am content with the accessible content it has. Thank you!

I've just watched 1 episode of something on my phone and I see none of the problems that were prominently described by either. Subtitles are clear and easy to read with my old eyes. I can see that there needs to be some indication of episodes that you've already watched. Overall, I'm good with what I've seen so far.

I really want them to be better and beat Crunchyroll. Because HIDIVE seems like a better company. But they really need to improve on the absolute basics like being able to remember what you just watched or how far you watch.

You're probably here because this app managed to buy the rights for an anime you want to watch. Well, it might be better to just pirate it to save a few bucks because it's clear this company doesn't care for the customer experience. This app has had a low rating for years for basic issues that should be the standards for streaming sites. The fact that it is 2025, and they don't have a simple button to go to the next episode shows how little they care about the customer.

It needs a lot of work when I chose an EP instead of actually showing me the series I want to watch it instead shows me my continue watching list the only thing it has over Crunchyroll is that it has the picture on picture function otherwise Crunchyroll beats this by a landslide
