★★★★★ Okay, now the app has been improved, no more intrusive checking what keyboard or what password manager user has been installed There are few areas need to improve, For Krisflyer points redemption, the app does not remember previously keyed in ID numbers, it's kind of annoying because user have to log in other app or search email for membership I'd then copy and paste back to app, it's not intuitive.

★★★★★ Nov 28, Suddenly, I am unable to login. Tried several times, but it keeps going back to login page. Please fix this issue. Nov 29, I am able to log in. At least, it was fixed this fast. From 1 star I changed to 5 stars. Thanks, HSBC Support!

★★☆☆☆ I enabled the assistive touch in my phone. And this hsbc app detects it as security threat . My gosh. it's an OS level feature . And all other banking apps I have, no issues with it. Only HSBC got issue with it. Amazing isn't it.

★★☆☆☆ Compared to other bank apps, this feels very primitive and lacking in functions. There are some basic functions, but otherwise it links to external website. Unable to find an option (if it even exists), tried the chat now but no reply for over 15 minutes. Probably faster calling in instead. Ended up logging in via browser to get work done. Oh... the app was useful in generating the code to log in. Yeah...

★★☆☆☆ Have been fine using this app all these years, but suddenly, it refuses to proceed to the login screen, saying that my paid version of McAfee Security is a threat. Now I don't know if I should give up McAfee or HSBC.
