I love this app, and it's one of my staple apps that I use almost daily. To check prices online. For sure thy make money from the companies that list their items, and only those listed can be compared... well, so one can find even cheaper offers, but one must have lots and lots of time on hand. And since I'm rarely willing to waste for hours to save just a few bucks, if at all, I'm more than happy with what Idealo offers.

Notifications are useless, they do not open the app, they just disappear when you click on it

It doesn't even allow you to sort your wishlist by price. Ironically the website does - so the app is literally worse. It also doesn't present you with a nice dashboard overview of all wishlist items close to a deal (e.g. lower than the price you added it at) or being a deal. That is limited to 4 items and if you click "more" it just goes to your wishlist section. Just avoid the app and use the website and price alerts

Many prices of products wrong due to mislabelling by retailers. Idealo seems to do nothing to correct these rogue retailers (often on ebay)
