iFootpath UK Circular Walking Guides with GPS Map

★★★★★ Pleased with the app. I attempted to make a Tracked Route and it worked well, though I couldn’t change the name of the walk after I’d already named it once. I also managed to upload it to my account with iFootpath, so I gather I can re-download it should I lose it from my device. The app hasn’t taken up too much space on my phone, which I’m glad about, even after downloading a number of walks/maps to look at. Nor did it drain the life out of my battery when I made my tracked route, which I’ve read can be a problem with such apps. One thing I have noticed is that when looking at a route, I cannot switch between the satellite and map image, which seems to be something you can do on the website but not with the app; though I may not have found the settings to do so. Next week I’ll be using it for some walks in Wales. If good, then I will update my review to five stars. Updated review: I recently put the app to the test and used it for a walk in Wales. It worked perfectly, tracking my location really well, so I could stay on my chosen path and not deviate at all. I’ve now giving this app the 5 stars it deserves.

★★★★★ Used this app for a few months now. Not only are the walks well described with pictures at appropriate points, but the gps map is great. I have found an unexpected surprise each walk. Great app, at a great price. Constantly updating new walks. Easy to navigate the app.

★★☆☆☆ The app appears to have deteriorated. I used it last winter and loved it. This year, for some reason, I can't view the maps of the walks I've already completed. This is so frustrating. After shutting the app down and returning, I now can't see any of my walks. App appears to have also slowed, dramatically. Sad that

★★☆☆☆ Was great first few times, tried to choose a walk for today and walks just sit there loading, tried restarting phone still same thing happy. This app is pony and a good mind to request a refund
