Love this app - why buy a garmin? Used on my cheap xperia active with hrm, cadence & speed sensors (garmin) for 4 years. Does the job perfectly. A nice legible dashboard on the handlebars even in direct sunlight.

Once you get used to ipBike you would never consider paying for a dedicated bike computer! The only advantage there would be a daylight readable LCD screen, but you should be looking at the road not a screen! This just needs a finger tap to bring up the screen when you need it. The voice prompts make that fairly unnecessary. Grab an old(ish) phone (update: now using a Pixel 3) a cheap SIM service provider, a weatherproof case for bike mounting, this app, and you've saved yourself a lot of money.

Much more reliable than my Garmin Edge. It doesn't do turn by turn navigation, but you can follow a track. I'm using a Samsung phone. Most Samsung phones have ANT. Garmin drops sensors. This doesn't. It integrates nicely with Strata. Highly recommended.

I write this negative review hoping the developer can solve the issue: the app detects the Garmin HRM but after few seconds it stops working. I've tried changing the HRM battery without any change.

Sad, cadence worked again but now does not. For several months none of these apps worked with cadence sensor, then this one did, it was the only one. After only a few uses though now it will not use cadence though sensor search finds it Every time I try to use the app on my trainer it locks on to GPS and will not use cadence. Oh well maybe one of the other apps will figure out how to fix ant+.

Crazy erratic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even when sensors say tracking Cadence, it often refuses to display anything other than heart rate. I even tried assigning sensor to my bike, but that did not do fix.

Now the map is gone, and there is no clear way to get it back. UX SUCKS, big time.

A complete load if rubbish. To set the app up you need a degree in cycling science. The first time I used was a 2.5-hour ride. The only thing recorded accurately was the distance. It only showed me as having 20 active time and thus an average speed if 192 km / hour. Today it didn't record anything for a 60 km ride. So complete and utter rubbish. Uninstalled the app after today's ride.
