Why 5 stars ? This app is so simple to understand and to use. Even if it contains the ads, they're so short. But ads are not a problem since you spend much time in learning flashcards (more than 3 minutes or more depending on your daily cards learned) than watching the ads for just like 4 seconds or 5. The App Is Amazing for real - once you finish N5 vocabulary, you're assured that You didn't miss a word & you can move on to the next one, or learn N5 & N4 at same time.
★★★★★
Changes between English - Japanese / Japanese to English, brings up cards that need reviewing automatically, and they're words that you really do need to review because you choose the amount of time before seeing it again after you've flipped the card. Huge plus for this, you can turn off the fumigant. Only feature I suggest- I wish it had a way of only showing the kanji of the JLPT level one is doing and having the rest of the word in hiragana.
★★☆☆☆
RIP to this app. This used to be the best app on JLPT vocab till it was botched up. I don't mind the ads but at least keep the old format. More options for the user for example keeping japanese word as the question instead of now just randomly be English or Japanese word. Also, dark mode is easy on the eyes like the last version. The old version of this app circa 2018 was 100x better than this garbage version.
★★☆☆☆
Whyever put kanji (fumigant) ?? Japanese uses other brackets sometimes BUT hiragana ??? For words with only a pre-hiragana or 音読み ??? App author may want to say no Rōmaji, but please, fumigant go above or below and NEVER after a 語 even in a 語彙
★★☆☆☆
Very good app but one thing makes it really hard to use. Why are there no settings to increase the size of the kanji. With more complicated kanji (words) it is essential to see exactly what the kanji look like. When using this app on my phone I really need to use additional resources like a dictionary to see the strokes or radicals in a readable size. Please make a relevant update to the app, and it's going to be perfect
★★☆☆☆
There's a total of 16k words, where's the source for it? You guys need to mention it, because otherwise why would anyone learn a bunch of words which aren't proven to be from jlpt? Mention in the app description where you took the words from, otherwise this app is not worth studying from.
