I have tried so many apps to learn Japanese, duolingo, busuu, lingo Deer, etc. and this one's the one that has most intuitively helped me learn hiragana, including the stroke order. I've yet to advance into grammar and katakana, so I do not speak on that of their learning material. But, where I am now, I've found it extremely helpful.

The design is super cute, and I wanted to like it, but these apps are never good for intermediate learners and make it so hard to test out. I can read and write hiragana and katakana and a hundred or more kanji, I don't want to spend an hour proving that before I can move on. Also, no way to mute the music, and my answers were marked wrong despite being the exact same as what was listed as correct. If your brand new to Japanese it could be helpful but just not what I was looking for.

Very weird buggy interface. I translated the placement question, "Niku is cute", perfectly, but it said I failed and didn't say why or show me the correct answer.

I will say I like how the videos teach grammar rules that most apps don't teach, and the flashcards are a nice touch and the mini-games are fun. Unfortunately this app seems to have no support team for if you have issues. I wish they would fix the bug preventing discord authentication. Or at very least if the support team would respond to issue tickets. My ticket was ignored for several weeks and eventually closed without ever receiving a response from anyone.
