I haven't reviewed one of these in a while. I buy these kinds of stories all the time. This one was very creative! Fascinating! I wish this author had more stories. I enjoyed the fact that there was a good balance of choices and storytelling. Once I bought previously started off with a decent amount of choices, then after you purchased the entire story, it stopped giving you choices and took the storytelling away from the reader. I was very happy this one did not resort to such tactics.

Aside from a couple of continuity errors and programming issues, it's funny, tongue-in-cheek, and hits all the right notes on adventures. The romance isn't great but most Choice of Games books don't focus that heavily on romance anyway. With regards to the ending, everyone liked me, and I won my own duel, became the queen, married my true love, discovered who was behind a lot of the plot and still feel unsatisfied. I'm a lot happier now after realizing how tough it was for others though

Hilarious game I had a lot of fun playing this! I also love the difference achievements you get. Out of some choice games I've paid for this is one of the better ones and isn't that expensive.

I regret spending money on this story. It's obviously intended to be funny, but it comes off as annoying. The romance aspect is non-existent and dull, the plot itself is messy and all over the place, there's too much going on with the poisoning, kidnapping, fighting vampire gnomes, finding out your siblings are conspiring against you and challenge you to a duel, which you just die in any way. Your choices have no impact or meaning either. Probably the worst story I've read in a while.
