I know how to find directions without a compass. I live in the Southern Hemisphere where the pull of the South Pole is more noticeable using simple tools. The east is where the sun breaches the horizon. This compass confirms it, and is always steady. I don't know its accuracy since I'm not an expert navigator, but I know how to find my bearings and know my destination. Thanks. Note that it is for only phones with the resources to detect magnetic fields.

Accuracy is great. The only issue I have is that the compass is a bit jumpy even when sitting on a flat surface and not being touched. Other than that, I really enjoy the app. If I can fix that, I'd give 5 stars.

Worked perfectly before, but has become garbage, 1 minute of ads before telling me my phone doesn't have magnetic sensors, so it doesn't work. Also, they have a paid version for€...7.9 PER WEEK. AVOID! UPDATE AFTER DEV RESPONSE: are you seriously suggesting for ppl to pay €7.9 PER WEEK, AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING, so your app works as it should? It screams SCAM! I REPEAT: AVIID THIS APP!

AVOID! I (very tech-savvy, early adopter) somehow accidentally, unintentionally opted for recurring premium at more than $12 A WEEK. Read that again. That's $48+ a month! For a compass! Ran for 11 weeks. Disputed the charges with Google. We'll see. Clear example of something that may not be technically a scam (though should be), but is certainly scammy. Now watch the dev say "We're sorry you didn't find the value proposition worthwhile," as if they have no idea that they're just scumbags.
