What the instructions DON'T TELL you is that you need to download the app on the phone you are getting rid of and don't reset your phone until after you have completed the trade in (I've just rung the customer service and suggested they fix the information - all they said they were sorry I felt that way!!) Said that they are getting 1-star reviews, and it was an issue! Telstra again provides a substandard service provider.... hope this helps others!

App suggests it tests a range of functionality of the device. It doesn't. How do I know? It suggests that my phone failed the following tests: Touch, volume, microphone, loudspeaker, camera, pixels... I couldn't retest, as the buttons don't work. Then it forces you to accept a lowball offer to proceed. Either the app is riddled with bugs or this is a way to dud customers
