This is the best! I was looking for an easy and organized way of tracking food items in my freezer, fridge & pantry. I tried every competing app on Google and I kept comparing it again and again to Kitchen Pal. Nothing else came close to it in functionality and the great pricing. The UPC code scanner identified more items than the rest. I also loved the default icons for expiration, it's much quicker than manual entry. Lastly, the team responds to emails so quickly. 5/5! Purchased lifetime now!

We had a lot of waste trying to meal plan from work post-covid. I wanted an app that would quickly / accurately scan our pantry to help us like we were still at home. Sharing the app has let us show our older kids what's in the cupboard to eliminate "I didn't know we had that!" waste. I wanted meal suggestions that they could make with what we have. This covers all the bases and seems to work splendidly. We had one issue with registering, but the team fixed it in < 24 hours - great!

Great for inventory of items, but not great for recipes. Can't even upload my own recipes. Keeps giving error that the ingredients are not in their database. Regretting getting the lifetime plan.

Poorly designed... If a product scan incorrectly, it is a hassle to correct. You gave to scroll through countless products to find the product you have because the magnifying glass does not bring up a search box to search for a certain product, so it makes doing a pantry inventory a hassle that should be quicker and easier me. Change that part then I could give it a high rating.

I really don't like this app. First, you can't import recipes to it from the web. Sure, it maintains a link to the recipe you are importing, but if that page moves or the site is not available, then you're out of luck. It won't import from recipe keeper. Next, the ingredient interpretation leaves everything to be desired. A can of diced tomatoes, and it'll tell you that you need whole tomatoes. And you can't change it. Pantry sucks to. You can add 14 or 21 ounces of chicken. Not 16 tho.
