★★★★★ The update in late January 2025 really improved the usability of the app, good job! Still not perfect, but I think it's now a great companion app to a kobo reader device (for when you're out and about, etc.)

★★★★★ Kobo is great in general, but something has changed on the app, and it is impossible to adjust the brightness to a comfortable level. At the second to the lowest setting it is way too bright, at the lowest setting the display is practically dark. The same thing seems to have happened to the font sizes. The differences between the increments are too big and this limits functionality. I am hoping my new book synchs with my reader.

★★★★★ The new update for the app doesn't cover the whole phone screen like it used to making it harder to focus while reading. Please bring that option back. I like to be fully immersed when reading a book and this update hinders that

★★☆☆☆ I can't purchase books. If I click on one, the app flashes the splash screen, then brings up an empty screen with the title "Store". It's often been glitchy, but now it's unusable. And, how about you reach out to us, if you actually want to help, instead of just telling everybody to reach out to you after they bring up an issue. Like, it's not our job to be beta-testers for your unfinished software.

★★☆☆☆ After trying to use this app as a Kindle replacement, I've finally had to give up. All the little glitches turn reading into a frustration. For instance, it's very common when swiping to turn the page for the app to instead resize the text or highlight a sentence. In-text links (like footnotes) often don't register when you try to select them, and sometimes they send you off to a different section of the book without a way to return to where you were. I want to like Kobo, but can't.
