★★★★★ I highly recommend this app. I have tried several others, including Duolingo, Hello Chinese, and Rocket Chinese, and so far this one is teaching very well and very quickly! I am doing the Chinese course, but I also tried their Italian, German, and Spanish. They all seem just as great. I had already studied pinyin before I started their Chinese course, which made it easier, however. I advise others to learn some pinyin before you start their Chinese course as well, if you want to make it easier.

★★★★★ Pimsleur is BY FAR the most effective language-learning platform available. If you are really serious about learning a new language, skip Duolingo and all those other apps and go with Pimsleur. The program is based primarily on repetition, starting with simple words/phrases to get you oriented and gradually getting more complex. The hardest part about the program is that lessions are 30-min long, and it can be difficult to find the time to keep up with daily sessions.

★★☆☆☆ Unfortunately the most helpful feature in my Arabic course, the voice coach, simply does not work, despite repeated e-mails to Pimsleur. This is essential in learning the dialect. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars. First Update... I was told this would be fixed by 8th January, but it has not. Disappointing. Second Update... So it is now the 12th of February and still no solution to the problem of the AI voice coach. I may as well cancel and get one to one tuition through Preply.

★★☆☆☆ It's good the methodology for people who are just starting one language, but if we have a certain level (even if it's a A2), we can't find a way to do a level test, I try to learn Italian having a basic level, I don't want to spend months learning what I know to reach my current level!

★★☆☆☆ I downloaded it, but I deleted it again. It is useless for me

★★☆☆☆ Please allow using the other lessons for free without giving free trial for subscription... You can add ads so that you can offer free lessons for free users.
