Advanced learning Delighted to have found this app. My German comprehension and vocabulary are advanced but my grammar is appalling, so this is the perfect practice tool for me. The user interface ain't no duolingo, but at least I don't have to sit through 20 lessons of "wo ist der Bahnhof" first. Unlike any other language app I have tried so far, this should really lead an advanced speaker to fluency. Thanks!

Questions are ridiculously hard for a1. I got 4/10 on c2 and 6/10 on a1 the questions don't match the level at all. It's also buggy and clearly abandoned it was not updated for Android 10.

Definitely it is not for beginners. The app just redirects you to the internet site when you click in audio course.

I know very minimal German and I said I wanted to start at level 1 basic a1 status. so you give me a test of 10 different things that I don't even know? to see how far or how much I know? That's just stupid and lame. I am beginner trying to learn and you're handing me stuff that is advanced level as a test to see if I know any of it.

Basically, the A1 to C1 levels are non-existent. NOT for beginners. It just has a bank of questions; they are not sorted into levels of language ability, because you get the same questions, regardless of what level you choose. It doesn't teach you anything, because the app is obviously designed with the assumption that whoever downloads it, understands German well enough, to understand pretty non-basic sentences, and solve them. For a beginner, it's completely useless. The only good thing about the app, is the free audio practice, on the web page it links to.
