★★★★★ Duo ABC > Hooked on Phonics. Labels on lessons would be nice. They really need a "practice room" where you could just do sets of various games. My kids respond really well to the "put the word back together" game, but they don't have that often. It also needs to let kids keep trying to write instead of switching it to auto-line mode when they don't get it after two tries. They won't learn as well in auto line mode. This also needs to have all the alphabet letters to practice writing at any time.

★★☆☆☆ Originally I thought this was really good, however its progression has been poor. Filling in the blanks of a sentence is too hard a skill for where they are expected to be. When choosing words often it can be done successfully by recognizing the first letter only, they need more words that are similar to each other. It is very easy to progress just by continuing to click, there should be more places to hold them back not just the pancake level. A UK English version would be useful
