Swift transaction. Easy to check and change seat reservation when necessary. Grateful for LNER points reduction on a more expensive, because sudden and comparatively late booking with 16 days notice. But tickets are still expensive compared with other countries. (We need government subsidy for public transport to encourage people off the roads to a greener lifestyle.)

Booking easy. The only downside is I can't use my perks credit towards the ticket purchase as it is only allowed on selected journeys (red star). There are no journeys available on the days I need to travel.

The error message, 'Something went wrong, please try again later' appeared when trying to book an open return ticket. Tried restarting, didn't work.

First time using the app to buy a ticket and all trains were cancelled, used the 'no quibble' 2 hour refund and was charged a £5 admin fee. UK trains are run by crooks, what an absolute racket they're running here.

I travel for work and my diary changes constantly. Amending my tickets to a new date can be tricky to do and the £10 charge despite giving sometimes a week or mores notice can be very costly. With the cost of train tickets ever rising, this extra charge is really damaging to myself and other regular commuters. Unless there's a £10 charge on LNER per seat for every time LNER cancels or delays a train, this doesn't seem fair.
