Decent client for meanie yet I wish it could cache the recipes for offline viewing.

It works well as it is intended, however it would be nice to have a feature to use an alternate server address when not connected to the local Wi-Fi. I.e. when the phone disconnects from your local Wi-Fi, it changes the server address to a secondary remote server address that you can access your local server from your mobile network.

Works quite well for my use. Only downsides are no website importing (not a big deal) and no sorting by categories or tags. If you have a lot of recipes and don't know exactly what you are looking for, lack of category sorting can make it a bit unwieldy.
★★☆☆☆
This app doesn't do anything the Meanie PWA doesn't, and omits several key features. In particular, it doesn't import recipes by URL, not does it display notes or nutrition information. If Mealiest could become a share target for URLs and automatically import recipes, that could be genuinely useful. For now, I'll stick to the PWA as a shortcut on my home screen.
★★☆☆☆
Basically just lets you view/manually add recipes - you can not add recipes by importing from url. You can search but not filter by tags or categories. It doesn't show the shopping lists (just get an error), or meal plans yet. Favorites button doesn't change look to indicate if you've already favorite or not. Cooking mode, changing serving size etc. are also not available. You can't comment on the recipes either. It looks great, but lack of functionality means I'm better off using web instead
