According to the FAQ, it's a Lenovo Experience app licensed under the Motorola brand, for the purpose of AI training through user data collection and marketing analytics. The FAQ also has contact info for data deletion requests. It requires setting up an account in order to work. Huge respect for transparency and supporting user privacy, Motorola!

★★☆☆☆ The very first time Motorola updated my phone OS they completely crashed my phone and wrecked all the component parts of the OS firmware. I had to get my phone fully restored from a Google backup I had made for just such an eventuality. In that process (the update) Motorola completely erased my contact list file as well. I would call Motorola an incompetent organization.
