Remote sold separately for a device that's $50+. Need to make an account to use the lights I've purchased and have Wi-Fi enabled when they are just lights. That the lights can't be controlled via a phone over Bluetooth is garbage design. Don't waste your money on Art. Nr. 99686, Eglo Led Stripes. Google is awful for blocking colorful ways of calling out awful products.

Wanted to use as remote control for a ceiling lamp. Didn't work

Doesn't work. Did this app replace the "Eglo C-Link" app? I bought a new C-Link ceiling lamp with clear instructions to use the C-Link app which apparently no longer exists. After research, I downloaded this app, and it doesn't detect the new lamp. I've used Tuya and Smart Life for years and know what I'm doing. This app did nothing.
