The app wasn't working for me so contacted Namey support. Turned out as my name wasn't in the app there were no suggested names in the search results. The support team added my name (and meaning) and within minutes I had multiple name suggestions.

We didn't need a naming app as all our kids are of school age now. But a friend who has the app mentioned that the app has short bedtime stories with special effects. So I tried it, the kids love it, makes bedtime more exciting now.

Very interesting description, but it's completely unusable based on my experience. I competed the search form 10–12 times, and it reset or restarted or simply crashed every single time. I have a new Pixel phone, so I know it's not a software / hardware not being up-to-date issue. Annoyingly I'm really interested in what it suggests, so I did persist for a while, but it ended up being easier to just ask chatgpt

The names were nice, but I wanted to sort by more origins. Scottish and Irish names are found unser European which ia far too broad when you're looking for something specific.
