NBC Nightly News

★★★★★ One of my favorite apps, but has frequent errors LG Optimus V, Android 2.2.2 (Froyo) I love NBC News and this app, it's the only way I can watch the news 90% of the time. It used to work beautifully, then 2 updates back it started displaying a popup "error" when one video would finish ("Sorry, this video cannot be played."). Thing is, the video itself would play fine if I went to it manually. The app also (from the same update forward) would make videos as "watched", when I hadn't watched them. That's a minor annoyance, though. The stopping videos from being played (except manually) is more of an issue for me. Once that clears up I'd gladly change my review to 5 stars (I know, as if NBC really cares what I think *shrugs*). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of the app, and still the same error. I'm also wondering about the screenshots displayed above. Are those from the tablet version of this app? Because my install looks nothing like that.

★★☆☆☆ This app on Samsung is garbage! It has for many years and still is garbage. It never ever works probably. Its 99% of the time locking up. Totally junk garbage app!

★★☆☆☆ Some substitutes are impossible to watch and listen to because they do not talk to the audience but shout instead. Stop shouting and let me watch & listen to the news without feeling being shout at whenever Lester Holt is off or on assignment elsewhere. Also, the introduction at the beginning of every broadcast is unnecessarily too long because it is repeated in the broadcast!
