WONDERFUL VISUAL CALENDAR -- Only Lacking In Automation If you like long descriptive event notices, THIS IS YOUR CALENDAR !!! Just visually link the color flags in the monthly view to the event at bottom of the screen. And those notices can be several lines long if you like (use 'spaces' to format as 'line return' cause remainder of message to be hidden)! As my title says, this calendar is all manual. If it had an automated widget indicating event/s for the current day (or could do the same in notification), it would have the minimum amount of automation needed.
